After School Club

We are currently have spaces everyday. We are open everyday the school is open to children. We are closed on INSET days.

School Pick-up
Reception, year 1 and year 2 children are collected from their classes by members of our team at 3:10pm, then they all walk together to the after school club room. Junior children make their own way to after school club at 3:20pm. Children hang up their coats and bags on a peg just outside the after school club room.
Collecting your child
The entrance to the After School Club is in the staff car park. Once you make a booking you will receive a code for the pedestrian gate to the staff car park. Walk to the end of the staff car park and through the green fenced off area. As you are arriving to collect your child you can call the club mobile 07880593105, and we will bring your child out.
Opening Hours
The After School Club is open every day that the school is open, from the end of the school day 3:10pm until 6.00pm. A late charge will be added to your account £1 per minute after 6pm.
Non-attendance
If your child is off sick, has gone home sick part way through the school day, or is not going to attend the after school club for any other reason, you must inform us. If children do not turn up to club, a member of staff has to spend time locating the child to ensure they are safe. This then disrupts the session and the adult to child ratio is sacrificed. Please text the club mobile number 07880593105 to inform the team working that day that your child will not be attending.
Late Collection
We understand that for unforeseen circumstances, you may very occasionally run a bit late to pick up your child. If this happens, please let us know as soon as you can by calling the club mobile. We have to keep 2 members of the team onsite until all children have been collected. Therefore if you arrive later than our closing time, you will be required to pay a late fee. This is £1 per minute after 6pm.
What we do
When children arrive at club they will be signed in and allowed to play in our main inside space. We have a wide range of toys available. We always have a drawing/colouring table for children to use. We also have a sofa and a reading corner available for children who may be tired from the school day and just want to rest and relax. We usually offer a snack straight away, as soon as children are all signed in and accounted for. Snack is usually sandwiches, wraps, pittas or rolls with a choice of cheese or ham. Sometimes we may have crumpets or cereal. In the colder months we sometimes have beans on toast or soup. We always have fresh salad and fruit on offer. We provide gluten free and dairy free options. Once children have had a snack they can go outside. Please ensure they have a coat if its due to be cold or wet. During the winter months you can bring in wellies or a spare pair or trainers if you would like. We provide sun cream in the summer months.
